Plenty Happening at Selby Padel Club 🎾

There’s plenty happening at Selby Padel Club as we head towards autumn, and while the warmer weather may be starting to disappear, there will still be lots of fun to be had on and off the courts.

Construction is now underway on a new courtside shelter, giving players, friends and family somewhere to stay dry and comfortable while watching the action. We’ve also installed heaters, which should make those cooler evenings at the club a little more welcoming.

We’re also delighted to have officially started our Junior Coaching Programme.

Resident coach Dave Pegg is taking charge of the sessions, having recently completed his coaching training and qualifications. Dave is ready to help introduce the next generation of players to padel and develop their skills and confidence on court.

Junior sessions can be booked directly through Playtomic. Parents can book places using their own Playtomic account, so there’s no need to create a separate account for your child.

It’s also been wonderful to see so many new faces at our recent Intro and Social sessions. The Selby Padel Club community continues to grow, with more people discovering the game and getting involved every week.

And there’s plenty more on the way. We’re working on a number of members-only events for the autumn months, giving our members even more opportunities to play, meet other players and enjoy being part of the club.

Summer might be drawing to a close, but things at Selby Padel Club are certainly not slowing down. 🍂🎾
